Outdoor Play

By March 31, 2017June 21st, 2020No Comments

When weather cooperates, we will spend time outdoors.  According to state law, children are to spend a minimum of an hour and a half outdoors each day (except for times when there is active precipitation or extremely inclement weather including smog alert days).  Please dress your child appropriately for the current weather and in play clothes with shoes that adequately protect the feet and are not slick-soled (tennis shoes are a good choice).

During times when outdoor play is not admissible, we spend time indoors in the Atrium.  A doctor’s note is required in order to keep a child inside during their scheduled outside play time.
